DISC (PLAYBACK): Side A: weak VG+, surface noise starts under music at the first note of Track 2 and lasts for about 30 seconds but doesn't have major impact. Track 3 has minor surface noise in the background during the first 25% then back into pure silence; Side B: VG/VG+, plays very smoothly but there is some noise half way through Track 1 and at the final part of Track 1, Track 2 plays very well no noise; Groovewear: No

NOTES: This warm up session for 'Blue Train' is a must have title in any BN collection. The jacket on this is an original variant with the window/notch present. Disc is cut hot with massive sound stage. High sound pressure. One of the strongest performances in the 1500s from an all-star lineup. Classic material.Most consider this a first pressing, but I would argue the NY23 run was first, even if perhaps produced during the same production week.
